We provide full life-cycle JDE DBA support on a remote basis from our office in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Depending on the size and needs of our clients, we can provide full-time DBA support, or provide a more cost-effective support model for smaller companies whose needs require part-time DBA assistance.

Because we provide these services and support from our facility, we can leverage our resources in the most cost-effective manner, keeping our DBAs focused on the emergent needs of our clients. This keeps our clients' costs lower, since our employees do not incur the expense and time inefficiencies that accompany constant back-and-forth travel to our client locations. It also ensures that our DBAs are highly productive, responsive, and available when you need them most.

>Project Implementation Services

DBConnect Solutions provides JDE DBA services during the implementation phase of new projects. This includes all of the necessary activities necessary to build the Oracle infrastructure for a successful implementation -- including planning, designing, building, supporting, and cross-training -- all using "Best Practices" tools and processes geared specifically for JDE on Oracle. DBConnect Solutions can also take on the ongoing support after go-live if our clients choose not to provide the JDE DBA support in-house.

>Oracle Database Tune-up / Health-check

Many of our clients utilize our Oracle Database Tune-up / Health-check to gauge the health and welfare of their JDE Oracle infrastructure. This assessment is typically a 1-2 week in-depth analysis and risk assessment of their existing Oracle environment, with an eye toward comparing the "as is" against our JDE DBA Best Practices standard.

For clients who have experienced Oracle DBAs on staff and who wish to leverage the automated tools and processes we have developed, we license an Oracle JDE DBA Toolkit to interested clients. This toolkit contains processes, documentation, scripts, and utilities to address Oracle Best Practices for JDE.
